Basketball Boy

Something that sure make David excited. His own boy playing basketball. This is when he first started putting the ball in the hoop. He also received a regular toddler size basketball hoop and he loves it. He will put just about anything through it. One day he knocked it over and was putting himself through it. We have a gate at the top of our stairs and that is pretty much Keilan's play area. Many time do all of the balls end up at the bottom of the stairs. He loves to watch them go down the stairs. If we are quick to throw them back he gets upset though.

Don't get startled/Family Photos from November 2010

 In November we finally decided to have family photos. We defiantly needed something fun for our Christmas card. I hate that being the only reason to do it. So we are going to try to get them done way more often. I just want memories for my kids to have when they are older. Now I just need to do more video taping. I just want to be able to capture Keilan's personality now has see how much he changes through time. People would and will always say they grow up too fast. Well, I firmly believe that and see it. We still have Keilan's birth photos on our fridge. It is just weird to us to know that was over 1 yr ago.

Feeding Time

I tried to feed Keilan rice cereal when he turned 5 months. He didn't really show interest or even swallow any down so I bagged it until further evaluation. Well here is what we have been up to this week. (He has his 6 month appointment soon and I didn't want to get in trouble for him not eating cereal yet).It was a success this time. The peas???? No so much yet!

4 Generations

My Grandma came to visit back in January so these photos are a little dated but are important to me.

It was so nice to see my grandma here in town. Times have been very hard for her in the past few years. Too many people close to her have passed including my grandpa. We all miss him a lot. David and I were talking the other night about how important grandparents are for kids. How you get to hear their stories and learn about random stuff you normally wouldn't care to research but when they tell the story it is much more vivid. For all my memories of my grandpa and what he did for our family I am VERY grateful. 

Old friends

  Recently I had friends come to visit that I went to high school with. With them I remember the fun times where we were always active doing adventurous things that kept us out of trouble. I know it is weird that I am the only girl but I still could keep my own with them.

• Swimming at Tim's house or Chadd's
• Cruising Clearwater
• Doing pranks
• I am sure there is a ton more but I can't think of right now.

This time they all are married with families.

This is a scary picture! Like father like son. He loves to watch TV. I was trying to change his clothes and he just kept turning into the way the TV was. Of course there was basketball on.

Now on to some "my attempt to be a photographer" collection.

I just can't get over the beautiful color of eyes he has.

Keilan's Blast Off Room!!

Finally when Keilan was 3 1/2 months his room was complete! 

We originally ordered bedding in August from a lady off Etsy. She was way in over her head and kept telling us she was almost done. Well this went on for 6 months and still NO bedding!! We had to just buy something else because I was ready for him to sleep in his own bedroom!

I am WAY WAY happier with this set than the one I originally ordered. Since then I Uma (Keilan's grandma) made some fun stuff with the extra fabric. She made the curtain and the pillow. I now want to make little things too!

Good thing we have such a great model.
